Thirty-seven more people have died from the COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, raising the death toll from the pandemic to 6,524 in the country.
Besides, the tally of infections has surged to 456,438 as 2,292 new cases have been confirmed during the period.
A press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) made the disclosure on Thursday (November 25) afternoon.
Health authorities reported another 2,274 people recovered from the disease in a day, rising the total number of recoveries to 371,453.
In the last 24 hours, 118 coronavirus testing laboratories across the country tested 17,052 samples.
The first coronavirus death was reported in the country on March 18, ten days after the detection of the first coronavirus cases.
